  • I have been to Arcadia many times in the past 7 years, but this time the food at Arcadia was even better than previous years. The breakfast was epic and dinner a feast made with locally sourced and fresh ingredients. Sibel is a talented chef and we loved every bite. The beach is amazing, and the hike up to the flames is a once in a lifetime experience. The cabins are clean and bright. I can't recommend this place enough. I will be back again and again.

  • We chose one of the Arcadia 2 bungolows, which are 100 m away from the beach, settled in a gorgeous lush garden area, where we felt almost alone. If you like solitude, I highly recommend those. The breakfast on the beach every morning was fantastic, all included in the price. On several evenings we also booked a dinner, then also on the beach and even with a woodfire for us on the beach; very romantic. Sibel and Christian, the new German hosts are wonderful loving people. Sibel's cooking is legendary, and Christian was great in giving us advice on some secret adventurous hiking trips. Hard to beat this place in terms of vacation-quality. We will certainly come back.

  • Arcadia was secluded and comfortable. It was clean, bed was comfortable and I thought it to be charming. They have bicycles you can use free of charge. Breakfast and dinner were great and right on the beach . Really nice people!

  • We spent two nights in these spacious and relaxing cabins by the sea. Surrounded by orange and lemon trees and a few chickens, dogs and cats. Nice verandas on the cabins and the wood lined interiors are spacious and very comfortable. The resort is on a nice beach right on the Mediterranean. The staff was wonderful. I was sick one day and stayed in the cabin and meals were brought to me. All the other family had breakfast and dinner in the lodge and they enjoyed the food. Super relaxing and near Olympos. We had fresh squeezed orange juice that was some of the best we ever had. Highly recommended.

  • A new husband and wife management team (and young children) started a few months before we arrived at the Arcadia in late June 2016. They both speak very good English and German as well as Turkish. My wife and I loved having our own bungalow with front porch to sit on and sip wine surrounded by a lovely green garden. Problems mentioned in former reviews before these new managers arrived seem to have been fixed. These hospitable and helpful managers were great in setting us up with boat trips with the best captains and arranging transfers to and from the airport. This holiday is all about taking it easy, peace and quiet, no hassles. The hotel is a short 8 minute bike ride (free cycles available at hotel) from the small town nearby. No high-rises, no big hotels, no masses of people, no noise or partying. Instead gazing at millions of stars at night after dinners of excellent food and wine listening to the gentle noise of the waves. Great for couples and also for families with children. Locals are polite and helpful and we never felt in danger because this is an out of the way place that does not have a high concentration of foreigners. Recent coup is sure to scare people off. However,Turkish people don't seem bothered about foreign tourists when they are present in reasonable numbers. My observation is that Turkish people are more likely to focus on other Turkish people. We are just the visitors - who come and go. This place is a hidden gem and if you not inclined towards being overly frightened you can have "a peaceful easy feeling" here. We spent the week after Brexit and it certainly was calming medicine we really needed. Arcadia is a bit more expensive than some of the hotels on this very clean beach but also a bit more posh in an informal and friendly way. Luxury not in the conventional sense but more about fresh ingredients from the garden, locally grown and delicious Turkish wine, a sense of privacy, well behaved families, the feeling of being a bit more on an adventure. I have stayed in hundreds of posh hotels in my business travels but prefer this is the kind of hide-out which replenishes the soul.

  • As other have noted in their reviews, the location is perfect--it is right on the beach (with free sunbeds and umbrellas) and it is very quiet--although they have a family room, and the owners' own children are about, I think it is more of a peace and quiet kind of place. Reading your book in the hammock, etc. However, others haven't, in my opinion, given enough attention to the quality of the food and cooking that is available at the hotel. The restaurant is also right on the beach with great sea views, and the food that is available, complements it. The menu is very Continental with many Turkish dishes and special dishes of the day. This is Sibel's second restaurant and still relies on organic food and creative cooking to conjure up some very good food. People from other hotels show up everyday, day after day, to also eat there and others make a lengthy drive from Kemer and other places to eat Sibel's food. The service is good, though casual, as befits a beach setting. The hotel huts (this word really doesn't do them justice) are lovely little islands in the large garden. Mine had a double and single bed, a very large en suite bathroom (much larger than mine at home), a minibar and all of the usual accoutrements like a coffee/tea maker, etc. I had a lovely time here and highly recommend it to others looking for a serene beach experience.
